The teacher/lecturer in a large lecture class prepares the students for the upcoming oral exam by: (1.) recording 2 different oral examinations herself and (2.) asking the students to record 3 oral examinations throughout the semester.

The students did not want to share their best bets with the others ... but this is actually an important part of learning.
The students are given the assignment to use a Padlet (online bulletin board) to brainstorm and sum up group work. The teacher uses the Padlet to gain an insight into the students' work.

Working together in groups, the students create an entirely new wiki-site which gets enriched every week. According to Ormrod, the students are often so eager to begin creating their wiki-site that they skip the break after the first lecture, and start creating their wiki-site right away.
